Teaching
EM300: Teaching in Non School Contexts, within the Faculty of Education
In this course, students are introduced to different contexts in which teaching and learning
occur: athletics, the arts, community programs, corporate training, etc. Students learn about
different theories of learning, accommodations and modifications, contemporary teaching
strategies, the incorporation of technology and equity, diversity, and inclusion practices within
education. Students have the opportunity to complete a final assignment in an area of
personal interest.
